Former Associate Executive Director, Woodhull Medical and Mental Health
Center, where responsibilities included the supervision or direct
responsibility for: Hospital-Wide Quality Assurance Program; Risk
Management; Utilization Review; Medical Staff monitoring and evaluation;
credentialing, appointment, reappointment, and privileging; staffing of
all Medical Staff monitoring committees; Patient Relations; and Regulatory
Affairs.
Ms. Dimas has over 20
years experience in the health care field, the last fifteen of which have
been devoted to preparing numerous health care facilities for JCAHO and
regulatory agency surveys and for the implementation of proven Quality
Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement Systems. (See listing of

served as a consultant to the American Lung Association, where the TQM
principles were utilized to address problems in their direct mail fund
raising operation on a nationwide basis. Other consulting projects
included the National Health Council and the National Council on
Alcoholism where she spearheaded the development of affiliated State
Alcoholism Associations. She has also served as CEO to two major mental
health organizations in New York and Florida.
